Our team was tasked with revising and creating a performance appraisal. I directed our team of 8 individuals on collaborating on a new performance appraisal system for both a kitchen manager and a juvenile supervision officer. Our group created a performance appraisal system from for a kitchen manager based on existing job analysis. We converted the knowledge, skills, and abilities, found in the analysis into a performance evaluation and added relevant behaviors for rating performance. We also offered edits to an already existing JSO performance appraisal. Our recommendations included refining the performance dimension descriptions, adding a section for supervisory comments, and an additional spot for final comments from the employee. .
